The LMF Musician Relief Fund aims to offer financial support for professionals in the music industry whose livelihood has been directly impacted by the Corona Virus outbreak.

APPLYING FOR ASSISTANCE

 

All professionals in the music industry may apply for grants not to exceed $500, and are intended to aid in recouping funds lost due to cancellations of active engagements.

​

1. A completed LMF Covid-19 MRF application

2. Proof of cancellations of bookings, concerts, and any other paid engagements since March 1st.

3. A biography, resume, and any other supplemental materials attesting to your professional background.

 

* Applications will be processed and considered on a case-by-case basis, and funds will be distributed only as long as they last. All awarded parties will be notified directly, and all other applications will be kept in the pipeline in case additional funds become available.

         ELIGIBILITY l REQUIREMENTS l PROCESSES

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 
 

• Must be 22 years or older

• Must have an Undergraduate Degree or higher majoring in the music industry

• Must be a legal resident of USA, and have legal eligibility to be employed

• Must be able to prove through documentation specific work lost as of March 1st, 2020

• Must be an active performing artist

• Must have liked the LMF Facebook Page, and shared the link to the COVID-19 Musician Relief Fund on personal social media.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

Please include the following items required with the completed application:

• Detailed music industry background documentation (articles, liner notes, letters from employers, etc)

• A biography

• A high-resolution publicity photo

• Documentation of loss of income (copy of your contract, flyers or links to event sites listing your involvement in the canceled event, letter/email from employer identifying cancellation, etc)

• Audio/Video samples of past performances.  Links to Youtube are preferred

• Essay describing your current situation, and in what way COVID-19 has impacted your ability to earn a living
