Lisker Music Foundation held a fundraiser on April 11 at the DiMenna Center’s Benzaquen Hall in New York City benefiting the first annual St. Andrew Summer Music Festival to take place this July in St. Adnrew, Hungary. The festival was founded by LMF featured artist, Bela Horvath, who has been working towards establishing this festival for several years. The festival will offer the beautiful historic town of St. Andrew (Szentendre) a week full of solo, chamber, and orchestral performances to be held in several different venues (indoor and outdoor) incorporating not only classical music, but Jazz as well. The visiting guest artists will also have the opportunity to give lessons to local music students, as well as perform alongside established Hungarian performers; creating what is expected to be a rich and meaningful cultural exchange. LMF is proud to call itself an official partner of the festival.
