Lisker Music Foundation joins a worldwide celebration of the 250th birthday of one of the world's greatest composers Ludwig van Beethoven and open the season with his powerful pieces like "Eroica" Symphony and more. 

The "Eroica" Symphony represents a turning point in the history of music. Beethoven said that this symphony was his favorite. In it, he envisioned where his music was going and in fact where the music of the future was going.

Praised for his subtle interpretations and refined technical mastery, British pianist Alexander Ullman has impressed audiences and critics worldwide with his deep understanding of the scores he interprets, his elegant touch and crystalline phrasing. 

 

The winner of the 11th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht, Alexander Ullman will perform in his solo Chicago recital.
